To clean a Sunbrella that’s still on the boat, follow these simple steps.
- Brush off loose dirt, and rinse the surface with a hose.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of ¼ cup mild soap (such as Woolite® or Dawn® dishwashing liquid) and one gallon of water.
- Using a soft bristle brush, gently clean the fabric, allowing cleaning solution to soak in.
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Air dry. Never use heat to dry marine fabrics.
- Depending on the age of the fabric, you may not need to reapply water repellant.
